Wer bin ich?
Ich bin Maria, 27, ursprünglich aus Deutschland.
Ich bin eine (ehemalige) Physiotherapeutin, die beschlossen hat, mit dem Rucksack um die Welt zu reisen. Wenn du also meine Geschichte hören willst – willkommen und viel Spaß.
Ich habe eine Ausbildung zur Physiotherapeutin gemacht und die letzten 3 Jahre als solche gearbeitet. Doch um ehrlich zu sein habe ich mich selbst von Anfang an nicht im deutschen Gesundheitssystem gesehen.
Obwohl ich die Chance hatte, mit einer neuen und ganzheitlichen Methode zu arbeiten und nicht nur als Therapeutin, sondern auch als Dozentin, Organisatorin und Mitveranstalterin von Workshops und Events, war das nicht wirklich etwas für mich und ich war nicht wirklich erfüllt.
Ich bin wirklich dankbar dafür, wie weit ich auf diesem Weg gekommen bin, als ich mich 2016 für dieses Studium entschieden und begonnen habe und für all das, was ich lernen konnte – aber ich habe das Gefühl, dass ich jetzt mehr in mich hineinwachse.
Wie gesagt, ich habe meinen 9-5-Job gekündigt, bin aus meiner Wohnung ausgezogen und habe fast alles verkauft, was ich einmal besessen habe, um auf Reisen zu gehen. Ich ging in einen Teil der Welt, den die meisten Menschen als den schwierigsten oder gefährlichsten für eine Solo-Reisende als 27-Jährige ansehen würden – die noch nicht einmal die Sprache spricht – und flog in die Dominikanische Republik mit dem Plan, Lateinamerika zu bereisen.
Vor zwei Jahren dachte ich noch: „Ich werde nie Lehrerin und ich werde nie unterrichten“, denn meine Mutter ist Lehrerin und seit ich mich erinnern kann, kam sie immer von der Schule nach Hause und hatte jeden Tag noch etwas Zuhause zu erledigen.
Allerdings habe ich das in meinem Beruf immer gemacht. Ich habe meinen Klienten immer beigebracht, was sie am Besten tun können oder wie sie trainieren und sich bewegen sollten, je nachdem, mit welchem Gesundheitsproblem sie zu tun hatten. Und das tagtäglich für mehr als 3 Jahre, ohne dass ich mir dessen bewusst war.
Vor nicht allzu langer Zeit habe ich festgestellt, dass ich erstens gar nicht so schlecht darin bin und zweitens, dass es mir sogar Spaß macht. Und ich bin Yogalehrerin geworden, also… es ist wirklich eine Leidenschaft für mich.
Das ist es also, was ich jetzt tue. Ich bringe das in meine Art und Weise ein, mein Einkommen zu generieren, indem ich andere unterstütze, während sie heilen oder ihre Gesundheit auf ganzheitliche Weise erhalten, und während ich in der Lage bin, um die Welt zu reisen.
Nun, das war’s. Jetzt kennst Du meine Geschichte und ein paar Nuancen von mir.

Ehrlich gesagt habe ich mich auf diesen Trip begeben, weil ich mehr von dem, was ich in dieser Welt sein kann, entdecken möchte, also danke, dass du vorbeischaust – ich weiß das wirklich sehr zu schätzen.

Ein schrecklicher Gedanke für mich ist, wenn ich aufgrund meines Wohlbefindens oder meiner Gesundheit, meine Hobbys nicht mehr ausleben kann, nicht mehr reisen kann und meiner Leidenschaft nicht mehr nachgehen kann. Genauso wenig möchte ich je meinen Alltag nach körperlichen oder geistigen Einschränkungen planen müssen. Ich bin hier, um pure Lebensfreude zu erfahren und meinen Körper als Instrument tagtäglich zu genießen.
Genauso bricht mein Herz ein klein wenig, wenn mir andere Menschen genau vom Gegenteil berichten.
Deswegen verlagere ich meinen Wirkbereich von der Therapie in Prävention, Lebensstil, Kohärenz und Selbst-Bewusstsein.

Ich sehe meine Zusammenarbeit mit meinen Klienten und Klientinnen als Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe, damit sie ihr Leben, bewusst und nachhaltig selbst gestalten können.
Denn genau das ist für jeden Menschen möglich!
Meine Arbeit ist meine Leidenschaft und ich freue mich, dich kennenlernen zu dürfen!
Ich war schon als Kind Sport- und Bewegungsbegeistert. Vom Voltigieren zum Reiten über Skifahren, Klettern, Bergsteigen und neuerdings auch zum Tanzen… Ich liebe es, mich zu bewegen, draußen zu sein und ich liebe Berge und das Meer. Und ich liebe, Neues zu lernen, was ich praktisch umsetzten kann. Was ich nie wirklich mochte, war, einen kompetitiven Charakter zu haben. Deswegen bin ich so dankbar, dass Yoga in mein Leben kam und die Ausbildung zur Yoga-Lehrerin ergab einfach Sinn.
Zusätzlich zu meinem Interesse an Bewegung und die Art, wie der Körper funktioniert und zusammenspielt, brachte mich meine Neugierde und persönliche Erfahrungen zu den Themen Mindset, mentale und psychische Gesundheit sowie das emotionale Dasein der Menschen.
An meinem 25 Geburtstag verletzte ich mich zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben und brach mir beim Bouldern meinen Arm.
Damit begann für mich ein Weg, der mich zu meinem heutigen Verständnis führt:
Körper, Verstand und Emotionen umkreisen unsere Existenz und damit auch unsere Gesundheit, unser Bewusstsein und somit Hand in Hand unsere Lebensfreude.
Deswegen reise ich. Deswegen bewege ich mich. Deswegen meditiere ich. Deswegen lerne ich. Deswegen tue ich, was ich tue.
Für mich ist das holistische Gesundheit.
Ich wusste ehrlich gesagt nicht wirklich, was ich nach meinem Schulabschluss tun wollte und bin mehr oder weniger ohne große Vorstellungen und Erwartungen in meine Ausbildung gestartet. Heute bin ich für diese Entscheidung sehr dankbar, da ich begreifen durfte, wie entscheidend Gesundheit und Wohlbefinden für ein erfülltes Leben sind.
